The president of World Cup organizer FIFA stated Friday he is nixing a much-criticized plan to promote stakes in soccer’s greatest event to non-public fairness buyers.
The plan to consolidate FIFA’s industrial and occasion operations into a brand new industrial subsidiary valued at $20 billion is off the desk, FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated in a press release.
