The road-up for the Serie B promotion play-off closing has been set, as Catanzaro secured their spot after defeating Palermo on Wednesday night, and can go on to face Monza to battle it out for a spot within the high flight for 2026-27.

They’ll now go on to face Monza for a spot in subsequent season. Monza completed the common season in third place in Serie B, which meant that they certified instantly for the play-off semi-finals. They had been held to a 2-2 draw by Juve Stabia of their first leg away from residence and claimed a 2-1 victory within the second leg on Tuesday night time.
