Italy worldwide Calafiori has had a surprising begin to the Premier League season, scoring one aim and offering two assists within the opening two league video games in 2025-26.

The ex-Bologna and Roma defender supplied two assists in a 5-0 win over Leeds United on Saturday, only a week after scoring the winner towards Manchester United at Previous Trafford.
The 23-year-old was praised by the Italian nationwide workforce on Sunday morning with a humorous submit: ‘Calafiori is cooking for Arsenal,’ wrote the official X account of the Azzurri.

Calafiori had missed a number of video games on account of accidents in 2024-25, and Mikel Arteta admitted through the pre-season that availability was the Italian needed to obtain this time period.
Absolutely, the beginning has been past convincing, and Calafiori is more likely to be referred to as up by new Azzurri coach Gennaro Gattuso in September for World Cup qualifying video games towards Estonia and Israel.
