Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk on Thursday dedicated his future to the Premier League membership, signing a brand new two-year contract.
The Dutch centre-back follows Mohamed Salah in ending months of hypothesis by extending his keep at Anfield.

“I am very pleased, very proud,” stated Van Dijk, 33. “There are such a lot of feelings clearly that undergo my head proper now talking about it.
“It is a proud feeling, it is a feeling of pleasure. It is simply unimaginable. The journey I’ve had up to now in my profession, to have the ability to lengthen it with one other two years at this membership is wonderful and I am so pleased.”
Van Dijk has been instrumental in Liverpool’s rise again to the highest of the English and European recreation since arriving from Southampton in January 2018.
He has made 314 appearances for the membership and has received the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, two League Cups, the UEFA Tremendous Cup and the Membership World Cup.
