Milan have been pressured to launch a press release denying rumours that membership legend and honorary vice chairman Franco Baresi had died.
There had been some messages circulating on social media that Baresi had handed away on the age of 66.

He had revealed in August 2025 that he underwent surgical procedure to take away a pulmonary nodule and had begun a course of immunotherapy.
