Defender Lisa Owen will finish her 12-year stint with Cardiff Metropolis Ladies when her contact expires this summer time.
The 28-year-old has helped the Bluebirds win three Adran Premier titles, the Adran Trophy, six Bute Power Welsh Cups, in addition to reaching the Ladies’s Champions League 3 times.

Scoring on her return in December 2022 after giving delivery was amongst Owen’s Cardiff highlights.
The membership thanked Owen for her “large contribution to our success”.
Owen advised Cardiff Metropolis TV: “It has been superb. I’ve cherished each minute of it and it has been an enormous journey. There was a time the place you can take a look at the video games on this league and you can predict who would win, you’ll know who can be within the high 4 yearly. It wasn’t as aggressive as it’s now; the Adran Premier is so completely different.
“Groups are all the time taking factors off one another and each recreation is tough. This 12 months has been essentially the most aggressive it is ever been and it is nice to see that.”

She added: “There’s been so many recollections. Coming again after having a child and scoring that objective on my return, that was so particular. Scoring at Cardiff Metropolis Stadium was one other massive second for me. The workforce have been there for me the entire time and so they’ve seen me develop each as a participant and as an individual.
