11 Premier League gamers make FIFPRO World XI shortlist

The nominees for the FIFPRO World XI have been named with 11 Premier League gamers on the ultimate shortlist.

Manchester Metropolis midfielder Rodri headlines the English-based nominees, with the Spaniard having been nominated for The Finest FIFA Males’s Participant. He might be aiming so as to add the accolade to the 2024 Ballon d’Or, received in October.

 

Rodri’s membership teammates Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Ederson and Kevin De Bruyne are additionally shortlisted for the World XI.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer can also be in competition, as is Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez, Arsenal centre-back William Saliba, and Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk.

Forwards: Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Cole Palmer, Cristiano Ronaldo, Vinicius Junior, Lamine Yamal.

When are the 2024 FIFA The Finest Soccer Awards?

The 2024 FIFA The Finest Soccer Awards will happen in January 2025. Votes are forged on one of the best performers of the calendar 12 months, with performances judged from January 2024 to December 2024 recognised.

 

The awards have been created after FIFA broke away from France Soccer, who current the Ballon d’Or, to create their very own award ceremony.

Nationwide group coaches and captains, journalists and followers all forged votes. The awards have been created in 2016 with Cristiano Ronaldo named as the primary winner of The Finest Males’s Participant award and Carli Lloyd claiming the ladies’s equal. Lionel Messi and Aitana Bonmatí received the person awards in 2023.
