The “FVS” system allowed managers to request video evaluations for essential choices with out official VAR referee. Every coach was granted two challenges per match.

Within the debut match, Carpi’s Stefano Casani used the system successfully after defender Lorenzo Lombardi obtained second yellow card for alleged handball.
Video replay confirmed the ball struck Lombardi’s chest prompting the referee to overturn the crimson card.

Regardless of preliminary pleasure, the league scrapped the coach requested VAR after sooner or later and future matches won’t enable managers to problem choices.
