Pohang have been drawn into Group H together with BG Pathum United of Thailand, Kaya FC-Iloilo of the Philippines, and Tampines Rovers of Singapore.
BG Pathum United enter the competitors because the third-placed crew within the 2024-2025 Thai League, Tampines Rovers qualify as runners-up within the 2024-2025 Singapore Premier League, whereas Kaya received the 2024-2025 Philippines Soccer League title.
The Group Stage will start in mid-September and can conclude in mid-December, with every crew dealing with one another in a home-and-away format. The highest two groups in every group advance to the Spherical of 16.
