Genoa have accomplished the switch of Norway worldwide Leo Ostigard from Rennes, on mortgage with choice to purchase, in a return to the membership.
The defender has made the transfer on mortgage and the choice to make it everlasting on the finish of the season

This represents a return to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris for the centre-back, who had already performed for the Grifone on mortgage from Brighton and Hove Albion for six months in 2022.
Ostigard remained in Serie A for and was a part of the group that received the Scudetto, then shifting to Stade Rennes for €7m in 2024.
He was on mortgage at TSG Hoffenheim from February to June 2025.
The defender has 31 senior caps for Norway and can have fun his twenty sixth birthday in November.
Between Genoa and Napoli, Ostigard made 46 Serie A appearances.
