La Liga give reasoning behind resolution to not postpone MD12 fixture schedule

On Thursday, La Liga confirmed that this weekend’s matches within the Valencia area wouldn’t be performed due to the devastation brought on by Storm Dana. 5 fixtures in complete have been postponed, with two (Valencia-Actual Madrid and Villarreal-Rayo Vallecano) being from the highest division.

It signifies that there’ll solely be eight matches performed this weekend, though for some, their perception is that there must be none in any respect. Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is one which agrees with this, and on Saturday, La Liga gave their explanations as to why the whole MD12 fixture card has not been moved to a later date.
