Timbers announce extension for 38-year-old Diego Chará

The Portland Timbers have introduced a contract extension for legendary midfielder Diego Chará, signing the Colombian up for his fifteenth season at Windfall Park, with a membership possibility for yet another 12 months in 2026.

Chará signed for the Cascadia membership again in 2011 and has been the centerpiece of the midfield for the membership ever since, serving to to cause them to three MLS Cup Closing appearances, profitable one.
